How to leave a workspace

Workspace managers and admins, can remove other members from a workspace – but you can also decide to leave a workspace independently. Let's talk about the consequences first:

"What will happen to my visualizations when I leave a workspace?"

You will lose access to all teams and visualizations in the workspace, including the ones you created. Visualizations you’ve created within a shared team will still be accessible to members of those teams, but the ones in your private archive won’t be. So you might want to consider moving them to a shared team where others can still access them, or moving them to another workspace where you will still be able to access and edit them.

"How can I get back onto the workspace?"

To get back onto a workspace you've left, you will need to be invited again by a workspace admin or manager. After accepting that invitation, you will once again be able to view and join public teams within that workspace and retrieve access to any visualizations you might have left behind in your private archive. Note that if you were previously a member of any private teams within the workspace, you will need to be reinvited to those teams too.

How to leave a workspace

Go to the workspace section under your workspace settings and click Leave workspace.

You will then be prompted to confirm you are certain that you want to leave this workspace. Click Leave workspace in that pop-up once again if you are sure.

And that's it! You successfully left your workspace.
