How to log in with SSO

Single-Sign-On, also known as SSO, is an authentication schema that lets you to log in to websites using your organization's existing login system. Datawrapper currently supports SAML2 or OpenID-based SSO, allowing you to access Datawrapper with your company credentials and ensuring seamless and secure authorization for you and your team. 

Single Sign-On is available for users on the Enterprise plan.

This article explains both how to set up SSO for your workspace, as well as how to log in using SSO.

How to set up SSO

To set up SSO for your workspace, go to your account settings by clicking on your workspace name at the top right of the screen, and click on Settings & Account:

Using the left-hand navigation bar, scroll down to the Single Sign-On section of your workspace's configuration settings (➊) and activate the Enable Single-Sign-On toggle (➋):

How to log in with SSO

Once SSO is configured for your Datawrapper workspace, you and your team can log in either via your designated Datawrapper sign-in URL or through your identity provider’s login portal. If you already have an existing Datawrapper account associated with your SSO email address, it will be automatically adopted during your first SSO login, and password-based authentication will be replaced with SSO.
